What else can we say other than this season was WET WET WET! With a delayed start after the birth of Archie we thought that the weather would be nice to us, but sadly not.  Poor Lulu didn't really get the start she wanted with Gatcombe abandoning but luckily our superstar didn't let that stop her and she went on to finish 3rd in the Ballindenisk CCI4* to wrap up her season (again in the ...

A great start to Osberton Young Horse Championships with our 6yo’s and 7yo!   We kicked off with WOZNIAK (Ozzie) in the 6yo, producing a super test, a few wobbles with his first test in a long arena and he decided to wave at the judge rather than rein back, but scored - respectable 34. SLIGO JUST TOUCH (Crunchie) also in the 6yo definitely did his best ever test, fa...

Up North to Bramham June seems to be another season of Internationals, with the first stop being Bramham for the notorious 4*L.Dressage was a bit of a reversal to that of Houghton, with Lulu nailing her test to take us into the top 10 and Fanta's test not quite going to plan.  But, Bramham is far from a dressage competition.  Onto the cross-country and Fanta tried his heart out completi...

April started with a bang at The Eventing Spring Carnival at Thoresby Hall. Posy and Fanta both got off to a good start in the dressage with Fanta sitting inside the top 10.  There were a few errors from Posy but overall it was a great test, with plenty still to jump.  Lulu also put her best hoof forward with a super dressage of 29.5 to sit just o...

AugustHomme HouseA busy day with some of the younger horses.  Sligo Just Touch, Wozniak and Ozone all doing their first BE100/5YO class.  Crunchie jumped a lovely double clear but I forgot what a long galloping stride he had and we picked up some too fast time penalties that knocked us out of the placings.  Ozzie had some flashy moments and some wobbly moments an...

We are starting to get a bit busier now as the events have all opened up. Our main event in April has been Burnham Market international.   We had a solid start at Burnham Market with all 4 horses producing good tests but all 4 have plenty more to come.   In the CCI3*S “Feloupe” after a stunning test we were all a little disappointed with a score of 30.1...
