West Wilts Nexgen 5yo Class

West Coast Fog (Coco) now owned by Amy Hryhoruk jumped 2 amazing rounds at West Wilts @nexgenhorses just missing out on qualifying for the 5yo Championships. This superstar heads off to her new owners this week and we will all be gutted to see her go!

Rectory British Shows

Great trip to Rectory Farm for some BS last week…

?? Ozzie - 4th 1.05m
?? Crunchie - ?? 1.10m and had a pole in his first 1.15m
?? Kojak - double clear in the 1.15m and had a pole in his first 1.20m
?? Posy - ?? and a super double clear in the Fox ??
?? Fanta - was extremely happy to be out for the first time since Bramham rolling one pole

INTERMEDIATE WINNER - Aston Le Walls
Superstar KOJAK made the hot ?? and sweaty trip to Aston le Walls Equestrian Centre worth it by jumping a hoof perfect double clear to take the WIN after another stunning dressage test to score 28.6 and add a handful of time faults for owners Molly Fisher, Lucy Fleming and Sam Wilson - who were all there to see him!!
HUGE thank you to Nigel and his team who delivered incredible ground conditions, even going as far as to water the arenas in competition breaks.

Not a bad way to resume competing after my ‘getting married’ break ?????? to become “Mrs Goss”

Hartpury International Horse Trails

A good start to Hartpury 4* with FANTA, owned by Nicky Cooper & Lucy Fleming, and POSY, owned by the Future Partnership.
A few little errors for Fanta costing us some marks but still a good place to start from at 34.
A first 4* test for Posy and she’s possibly a year off being competitive and established in this work. She had some real highlights with some very good half pass and some lovely trot and canter work.
An early showjumping tomorrow but not really looking forward to going cross country in the middle of the day tomorrow.
Oh Fanta. Another 4* double clear for Nicky Cooper and Lucy Fleming’s super special unicorn!!
Given that we were starting XC in the height of the heat we took it nice and steady, picking up 14.4 time but he really was a superstar.
Not the result on paper we were hoping for with an unscheduled dismount on my part (first fall as a married woman ??) BUT it confirmed that Posy is more than capable of the 4* level!!
She was superb in the showjumping with scope to burn. It was however that caught her out a little cross-country. She really does have so much jump!! The intensity of the course just caught up on her and when she had a bit of a look at a fence near home it caught me by surprise. But all the tricky combinations and skinnies were no problem for Princess Posy
Huge thanks to Hartpury Equine Events for the hard work to the ground and ensuring there was plenty of water available to cool the horses (and riders) down quickly.

Win number 2 as a married woman

SLIGO JUST TOUCH, owned by Molly Fisher & Lucy Fleming, WON his Novice section adding just 0.8 time to his 29.5 dressage.
WOZNIAK, also owned by Molly & Lucy, did a good dressage for 31 and rolled an unlucky pole so we gave him a stead run XC and still finished 4th.

Ozzie & Crunchie, both owned by Molly Fisher & Lucy Fleming, were superstars once again at Wellington, both jumping a super double clear.
Crunchie produced a super 25 dressage but just felt a little flat after a 2hr wait for XC so we ran steadily.
Ozzie was the star of the day finishing on his 27 dressage to take 2nd.

Wellington Horse Trials

Oh Kojak. This superstar never fails to put a smile on your face! He led the dressage on a score of 23.6 and jumped a double clear at Wellington International Horse Trials today.
Given that he’s only been jumping 18 months and he’s still new at Intermediate we ran steady XC, despite our 3 point lead at that time. He’s not quite ready to run fast, but was so straight and genuine, giving me a super ride!
Huge thanks to his owners Molly Fisher, Lucy Fleming and Sam Wilson for their continued support. And to Shauna Carman for super grooming at the event and Brooke Gardener-wollen and Zoe Hore at home!
