End of Season 2021

An early season end... Unfortunately I picked up an injury during September that wasn't so easy to shake, I tried to keep riding and was able to get to a couple of events but whilst jumping at home the morning we were going to Pontispool is was apparant I would need some treatment and some time off.     This sadly meant that we had to miss Pontispool OI with Fanta and Posy and the internationals at South of England with the same two and Little Downham 4* on Lulu, and the younger horses havin another couple of BE100 runs, which forced finishing the season slightly earlier than planned. Team Spence has had a fnatastic year with a couple of big highlights, Lulu winning Aston Advanced, Fanta winning Burgham 3* and of course Harley being part of another winning Nations Cup Team at Houghon Hall.   I just wanted to say a huge thank you to my incredible owners who have been so supportive and forced me to have a few weeks rest and give the horses a holiday and to the wider team - Sara, Connie, Beth and Sarah who not only turn the horses out so beautifully at competitions but keep everything running smoothly at home.   Now that the compeition horses are out on holiday we have now started to get busy with the schooling and sales horses which will keep us all busy before the compeitions horses come back in after they holidays.   Another big thank you to my amazin sponsors, I would not be where I am without each and every one of you and am looking forward to another exciting season next year!
