End of the Season 2020

Well it has been a short but sweet season eventing which has sadly had to come to a close.

After Uppercourt Cooleys fantastic win at Cornbury it was back out with the younger horses.

At Moreton Morrell we had 3 horses in the Novice, Knockenroe Spirit produced a lovely test, sadly spoilt by a couple of fences down but a lovely clear XC.

Homerus jumped another super double clear after his out of character XC fault last time out, to finish in 5th place. And the lovely Feloupe, now also owned by Lucy Fleming, produced a super test to lead on 21.8, and an easy double clear inside the time to win the ON!!

We then popped over to Calmsden with Knockanroe Spirit, who SJ much better with just one down an a steady clear XC to finish her season for 2020! And Feloupe just came out to do the dressage as she had two events left but made the trip worth while with a 25!!

Two events left, and these were both with Feloupe.
The first was Broadway in the IN. And a rather spritely test next to a tractor in the next door field, but held it together with a couple of errors to score 28.2, but an easy double clear in testing conditions just picking up 4 faults to win again!! We have really started to cement out partnership now!

And the last event of 2020 for Team Spence was Oasby, again with Feloupe, but this time in the OI. A super test with still a lot more to come to score 28.4 and yet another double clear to finish in 2nd place. A brilliant way to finish the season with sound, happy and healthy horses!!
