End of the 2017 Eventing Season

I am so lucky to have such exciting young horses coming through. My amazing trio, allownered by my hugely supportive owner, Sam Wilson, I’m not quite sure where I would be without you!
HOMERUS aka Jaffa, a super smooth test to score 26.5 and a lovely double clear in time to finish in 2nd.
SAN SOLO, having his first run back after slicing his knee. He coped well to produce a 29 dressage in a rain storm and felt fantastic jumping double clear in time for 3rd.
And TOP HONOURS aka Jimmy. A sweet test to score 30 and an easy double clear in time to finish 7th!!
What a fab day. Next they head to Pontispool!

Great day at Pontispool yesterday with BLUSTEREN aka Wotty having a quiet canter around the OI jumping double clear.
Wotty will now go to Little downham Advanced for his last run of 2017! HOMERUS aka Jaffa was a star, ever improving on the flat to score 27, a very rare fence down for him but a super clear XC inside the time to finish in 3rd.
SAN SOLO as always a beautiful test to score 25, and another foot perfect double clear to finish in 4th.
And TOP HONOURS aka Jimmy my gorgeous TB, a beautiful test to score 30 and a lovely double clear – of course well inside the time to finish 7th!
I am so excited about these 3 young horses who are all owned by my incredibly supportive owner Sam Wilson and will all head to do a Novice next time out!
Huge thank you to Tu and Mimi who were amazingly quick turning the horses around with only 10-15 mins between each time!

Next I had a day out to do some British Dressage, it was a great day with COOLEY LEGALAND winning Novice 30 and CALVIN winning Elementary 42!! These boys will now have a well deserved holiday after a very successful season!!

My penultimate event of the 2017 season was Calmsden.
HONERUS aka Jaffa was doing his first Novice as only a 5yo. A lovey test to score 32.5, one down SJ and a awesome ride XC, sadly given 20 penalties for hesitating at the water but otherwise was a compete star!!
SAN SOLO was class. A 34 dressage and foot perfect double clear, but we just cantered round for 15 time faults!
And the star of the show was TOP HONOURS, a super 25 dressage, a bit green SJ but flew XC clear inside the time to finish 3rd!!

And the last event of the season as Broadway with just one horse, my exciting 6yo TOP HONOURS owned by Sam Wilson.
He scored 31.3, 1 down SJ and an easy clear inside the time to finish 3rd!
What an incredible season this horse has had. He has jumped clear XC inside the time at all of his 12 starts…… wow it really is so amazing to have a pure TB in the yard! He will now go out on holiday with his stable mate HOMERUS aka Jaffa cake, before they start winter training ready for the 2018 season!!
