Here at Team Spence we have had quite a few changes of the 2019 / 2020 Winter.

Firstly we had to wave good bye to long term groom and friend, Lydia Parnell. Lydia had been with Team Spence over 2 years and was a huge asset to us.

On a positive note, we have had 2 very exiciting new team members.

Firstly, Chloe Howson who has started with us as Head Girl. I have been quietly looking for a Head Girl for a while to take over some more of the running of the yard, and enable me to focus more on the riding and producing of horses as well as my coaching which has expanded over the last couple of years. She started with us January 2020 and has alreayd made a huge difference, we have a great routine and she works quickly and efficently and most importantly loves the horses!!

Next is Sara Bech who has come to us as a Rider / Groom. Sara is very experienced having ridden all her life, and in 2019 competed on the Young Rider European Team for her home nation, Denmark. She also upgraded her home produced mare, Dicte, up to CCI4*L level with the aims of establishing  at this level in 2020 and the long term aim of a CCI5* and the Senior Europeans in 2021. We are very lucky to have to here to help with the producing and schooling of the horses.
